100 ord och bilder som reflekterar tiden

På sajten 10×10 (tenbyten) kan man på ett ganska finurligt sätt få en sammanfattning av vår samtid utifrån nyhetsrapporteringen världen över. Varje timme samlas de 100 ord och bilder som betytt mest ur ett globalt perspektiv och visas på en och samma bild. Det skapar ett avtryck av tiden som i förlängningen skapar en sträng av "tidsstämplar".

Än så länge är det nyhetsflödet från Reuters, BBC och New York Times International som via RSS-flöden levererar stoffet till 10×10. Ett ganska intressant sätt att grafiskt förmedla komplex nulägesinformation. Det skulle vara spännande att se en tillämpning av tekniken på andra typer av informationsflöden.
